TEEN CORPS 2022!
Registrations are open for WFCF Teen Corps 2022!
Teens are invited to join our Director of Education for this hands-on, leadership building, project-based experience for one, multiple or all four seasons in 2022.
Each meeting session includes a group gathering and conversation about topics in current events; leadership activities and projects; tending to the Learning Garden (even in winter, there are garden tasks to do!); assisting with rabbit and chicken care; harvesting and/or cooking storage crops in the Learning Garden Cottage; and special projects to be decided and designed by our teen participants. Together, we explore nutrition, culinary arts, gardening, agriculture, organic fiber, chicken & rabbit care and the diverse cultures of food and food systems while developing skills through guided explorations.
