Join us for a fiber experience like no other!  Emerse yourself in the natural world on the farm and soak up the autumn colors, sights, and sounds.  Meet our loving, fiber-producing rabbit family while exploring pumpkins, gourds, and squash of all sorts.  Sip herb tea and munch on cookies while learning a new craft, or improve your skills with WFCF Director of Education, rabbit trainer, and fiber artist Jessica Herwick.

Meet other makers who share an enthusiasm for natural art and sustainable fiber and explore at your own pace of learning.
All levels of experience are welcome to this makers' gathering!

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:  Learn about the history of wool and the various methods used throughout the centuries to create art and textiles that have kept humans warm, boats sailing, and homesteads warm for centuries.  Meet a few members of our Angora rabbit fiber family for inspiration and cuddles, and enjoy some warm seasonally spiced tea and cookies while you create with your community!  Participants will manipulate wool from their kits using the art of needle felting or wet felting to create an autumn landscape felt painting, or a 3 dimensional wool sculpture, to reflect your experience.
