Waltham Farm Day

FREE EVENT, ALL ARE WELCOME!!!
Come kick-off Massachusetts Harvest For Students Week and celebrate farming in Waltham with an afternoon of family-friendly farm activities, educational demonstrations, and just plain harvest-time fun! Offerings include cider-pressing, cooking demos, visiting the chickens, farm products for sale, and more! Free trolley service from the Waltham Common to and from the event begins at 2pm. Parking is also available on-site.

Marvelous Harvest Family Program
Wednesday, October 13th, 9:30-11am or Wednesday, October 20th, 9:30-11am
Fabulous farm educator Paula Jordan is back to lead another series of programs for children ages 0-4 and their caregivers! The fee for each program is $10/child plus $2 for each additional child. Please contact with any questions, or to sign up.
Harvest Potluck and Annual Meeting
Saturday, October 30, 12pm-2pm
Location is TBA as the auditorium at the farm is undergoing repairs and may not be finished in time.
Bring a dish to share, vote in new board members, learn about our accomplishments for the year and plans moving forward. All are welcome at this annual celebration for volunteers, members and other farm friends! Event is free.
An Evening of Winter Crafts: Save the Date! Tuesday, November 30, 6:30pm-9pm
Prepare for the holidays by making fabulous farm gifts. More details and location to be announced soon.
Dinner at Kitchen on Common - REAP Benefit Sunday, November 7
At Kitchen on Common, 442 Common St., Belmont
Another dinner to assist with (R)aising Funds for (E)ducation and Food (A)ccess (P)rograms. Enjoy a farm-fresh fall meal with chef Joh Kokubo at Kitchen on Common. $45/person plus tax and tip. Seating is limited.

Waltham Fields Community Farm Board Meetings - Board of Director meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month. They are open to Waltham Fields Community Farm members and the public. Board meetings generally begin at 7:00 pm and are held in meeting room on the top floor of the Field Station.
