Needle Felting with Rabbits & Hens

Guest instructor, Alex Adamo of the fabulous Alex Makes Art, brings her expertise to the Learning Garden to teach participants how to needle-felt rabbit and chicken sculptures with wool and angora. Learn about the history of needle felting and add to your skillset or try something new.

For beginning and advanced artisans alike, Alex works with all levels of experience and welcomes everyone with an interest in fiber to try this wonderful art form! 

Participants will be seated at socially-distanced craft tables and will be able to interact with the farm animals who will keep us company while we enjoy the Learning Garden overlooking the farm. Our farm animals are friendly and love attention from our visitors. Treats for animals will be provided for those who wish to interact with the rabbits and hens directly. 

This workshop is geared towards adult learning, but remains family friendly. Children 18yrs and younger must attend with an adult.
