Waltham Fields Community Farm
Envisioning communities with equitable access to
the beauty, sanctuary, and food of local, sustainable farms.
Our Programs
Service
Service Learning is a core way in which we engage with our greater community, and engage our community with the land. Through individual and group volunteer opportunities, field trips, and community events the public is able to experience the sanctuary of green space, and the vital nourishment that comes from connecting with nature.
Education
Our place based, seasonally driven education programs for all ages engage students in the natural world around them, while teaching them gardening, foraging and culinary skills.
Food Access
Through mobile outreach markets, and community partnships with health care providers, food pantries, and public schools, we bring local, nourishing food to our community and remove barriers between indivuduals and thier food supply.
Agriculture
Regenerative Agriculture and Organice growing practives are at the core of what we do. Healthy soil produces healthy plants, to better nurish our friends and neighbors.

"Our family has been enjoying the WFCF programs for many years now and absolutely love them. My kids have been part of Summer in the farm every summer and is the place they always are looking forward to go and want to come back every time. Outdoor play, getting dirty and learning about farming and cooking, make the best enrichment experience for them."
"I live close by. Every morning, I look out at the Farm, and I can come over here and just be. It feels like a respite in the middle of the City."
