broccoli stalks in winter

Waltham Fields Community Farm (WFCF) remains committed to our mission of cultivating sustainable and equitable relationships between people, their food supply, and the land from which it grows.   As permitted by the City of Waltham, WFCF will continue to achieve this mission, provide vital resources for our community, and steward the land that we have cared for the last three decades.  We thank the community for its tremendous outreach, advocacy, and support, and look forward to further clarity from the City of Waltham.

Status of Education Programs:   At this time, 2023 On-Farm Perennial Program Registrations are paused as we have been told by the City of Waltham that we may not host programs in the Learning Garden. We are working to adapt and relocate education programs to an accessible area of 240 Beaver Street, within the area we will farm.  We are hopeful to open on-farm programs for the spring season for the return of Little Sprouts, Teen Corps, Rabbit Ambassadors and After School/School Age programs. We apologize for this unexpected delay in on-farm programs.  Our education team is ready to hold on-farm programs, and as our community of learners to stay posted with updates on the website.

ALL OFF SITE Enrichment Programs are enrolling now and will continue!

Workshops that are listed in the digital calendar with open online registrations will be held as scheduled.  WFCF School Enrichment Programs and School Visits are OPEN and will not be affected by the land access issues.
