WFCF Invites YOU to the Annual Ice Cream Social!

THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE RAIN or SHINE!

Parking available at 240 Beaver Street in the gravel parking lot.  Street parking available alongside the farm on Linden Street and in parking lot of Cornelia Warren Park nextdoor. 

Bring a blanket and you appetite for frozen delights to the farm from 5:30 - 7:30pm and help support WFCF Education and Food Access Programs!  

Enjoy an evening on the farm alongside WFCF Staff, Educators and Farm team members to join in celebration of the end of the school year and the start of the summer season with the WFCF Education team and Rancatore’s Ice Cream!

Rancatore's Ice Cream will dish out scoops of farm-fresh (dairy free) Rhubarb Sorbet and (milk-based) Fresh Mint Ice Cream, spun with love by Ranc’s from freshly harvested rhubarb and mints grown right here on the land WFCF stewards!  

WFCF Summer Education Team will help top off your sundaes with unlimited toppings, including Ranc's hot fudge! Yummm!  (nut-free and dairy-free and gluten free options available)

All proceeds benefit WFCF Education for All Scholarship Fund, and WFCF Food Access Programs.

Watch and cheer as WFCF Director of Education & Community Engagement, Jessica Herwick (AKA Miss Jess), defends her title as the 2023 WFCF Ice Cream Eating Champion this year against TWO challengers in a hands-free ice cream eating contest to help raise funds for the WFCF Education and Food Access Programs! 

Challengers Rancatore's General Manager and farm-fresh flavor maker, Tyler Whitehorn and WFCF Farmer Nina W. are ready to prove how much they love ice cream!

Bring your dollars and vote for your favored contenders by donating to the human YOU think will prove they love ice cream the most!  

Can’t make it to the social?  No problem!  

Votes can also be cast at the register in the Barn Store and online HERE!  All  contributions will be added to the fundraising total for this event, and votes placed before 630pm will be added to the precontest tally - when we count up the dollars and see who the community predicts will win.  

Farm Fresh pints and micros, as well as other Rancatore’s frozen delights will be available in the WFCF Farm Stand during open hours throughout the season (while supplies last).  Keep your eye on the freezers!  They sell out quickly!
