Ice Cream Social 2022!

Gather on the farm for a yummy FUNdraiser at WFCF and celebrate the first harvest of the season with your family and friends, and a big ol' bowl of Rancatore's!  

Friday, June 17, 2022   5:30-7:30 p.m.

Featuring Fresh Mint Ice Cream and Rhubarb Sorbet (from mint and rhubarb grown here on this land!) 

Every scoop sold helps support WFCF's Education and Food Access Programs. In partnership with Rancatore’s Ice Cream, the farm provides the produce and Ranc’s adds the magic, spinning small-batch, tasty, farm-fresh, ice cream and dairy-free sorbet at their Waltham ice cream factory.  

This year's Ice Cream Social looks a little different as we continue to adjust with the times (and inflation) and find our 'new normal' as a community.

  + 2022 Ice Cream Social will be a fully outdoor, in-person event, following COVID safety guidelines.

  +  Serving size has changed!  Ranc's will offer a sundae-sized scoop of your choice of Fresh Mint Ice Cream or Rhubarb Sorbet in a dish large enough to fit all the toppings you can handle, with a healthy dose of whipped topping, or dairy free whipped topping for $6.00 per sundae. 

  + Limited pre-packed micro servings of Rancatore's Ice Cream and Sorbet will be available for sale in the Barn Store during the event, and during open Barn Store hours (for as long as supplies last from each seasonal batch).

  + Details on this event, including COVID Safety Guidelines continue to be updated as we grow closer to this event.  Please review the Waltham City COVID 19 Info page on their website HERE which lists current advisories and information for Waltham City.  Please review the current CITYWIDE MASK ADVISORY for WALTHAM CITY.  

  + NO PINTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER THIS YEAR. 

  + STOCK OF PREPACKAGED RANC'S MICROS IN VARIOUS SEASONAL FLAVORS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN THE BARN STORE FOR PURCHASE AS LONG AS SUPPLIES LAST. 

  + KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE ICE CREAM FREEZER IN THE BARN STORE AS FLAVORS WILL COME AND GO ALL SEASON!
