Sign up your family to hang out with our family of wool producing English Angora rabbits on the farm! If you have been curious about these intelligent, friendly fuzzballs, here's your chance to get up-close and personal with the bunnies and spend some time together in the fresh air on the farm!
Participants will meet in family groups (parents/caregivers and children are expected to attend together) and enjoy the springtime energy of the farm and the bunnies. We will interact with the rabbits, learn to groom, train, and care for these special wool-producing animals in playful ways through games and activities. Discover the complex global history and impact of their especially soft, warm, sought-after wool. Experience the many ways we use their fiber to make felt, spin yarn, and create functional and decorative projects from the wool we humanely harvest with the guidance of our Learning Garden Educators.
