SEEDLING SALES

May 7 & 14

9am-1pm

At the Farm

240 Beaver St.

April 16 & May 14 dates include a perennial sale and swap coordinated by Waltham Fields Board Member, Judy Fallows!

Waltham Fields Community Farm is happy to offer you seedlings for your home garden. Expect cooler weather favorites like lettuce, spinach and kale in April and heat lovers like tomatoes, basil and flowers in May. All varieties offered have been chosen by our farmers because of their exceptional performance in our own fields.  You'll also find a good selection of compact plant varieties that will make better use of precious garden space.  We always buy non-treated seeds, and organic seeds when possible, and grow using organic methods with nutrient-rich potting soil in our greenhouses.

Spring After School Programs

for Youth

Join us this year to explore the wonders of the farm as plants begin to grow and blossom, and critters emerge for another great growing season! Hands-on gardening and preparation of farm-fresh snacks are the cornerstone of all of our youth programs so participants can expect to learn about the farm environment, crop production, nutrition, and group cooperation while digging, planting, chopping, mashing, and simply playing outside in the springtime!
