Support Waltham Fields Community Farm in the Ride For Food!

Join our team in the Ride For Food on Sunday, September 23! All rides end at lunchtime so we can celebrate together with lunch, music, and a raffle with GREAT prizes!

Meg and Brian Ride for Food  Who? Bike Riders! Choose from a 10, 25, or 50-mile ride along beautiful roads made for bike riding! For a beginner-friendly ride, choose the 10-mile route--most can complete this in about 1.5 hours--or challenge yourself and sign up for the 25 or 50-mile routes. Breakfast, lunch, & snacks provided! Riders aged 14+ are welcome. Registration is $75 and goes toward Ride expenses.

Local food for everyone: All riders are asked to shoot for a fundraising goal of $1, can do it! By signing up for the Waltham Fields team, you agree to raise a minimum of $300 (which gets you some awesome swag!), in addition to the registration fee. The funds you raise for Waltham Fields make organic, local food accessible to all!

How does fundraising work? Each rider receives a personal fundraising webpage to make your own. Most people reach their goals by asking their friends, family, and co-workers to contribute. Your social media pages are a great way to get the word out! Others get sponsorships from their employers or throw dinner parties & yard sales to collect donations. Want to raise funds without riding? Registration is free for virtual riders-- folks who want a personal fundraising page to help us raise $20,000, but who do not plan to ride.

Where? Rides begin and end at Noble & Greenough School in Dedham, MA.

When? September 23, 2018

6:30 am-10:30 am: Rides begin. Start time depends on which route you choose.

12 noon--1:30 pm: Rides end. Festive lunch & party for riders & their families!

Why ride? Waltham Fields believes that everyone should have access to local, organic food. All of the proceeds from the Ride For Food will help fund our many food access and assistance programs. Join us today and give local food to all!
